Agent claims Toure set to leave
The agent of Manchester City star Yaya Toure has suggested that his client is almost certain to leave the Citizens at the end of the season.
The Ivorian has become disillusioned with life at the Etihad of late and it appears he has decided to end his spell with the club.
At a time when Inter Milan are believed to be hot on his trail, Toure’s agent has revealed that the midfielder will probably be leaving in the summer.
“It’s 90% certain he’ll leave Manchester City this summer,” agent Dimitri Seluk told Sky Sports. “Nothing has been decided – we are waiting until the end of the season.”
Yaya Toure, 31, joined the Citizens from Barcelona in the summer of 2010 and has since managed 46 goals in 160 Premier League outings, winning two Premier League titles in the process.
Manchester City play host to relegation strugglers QPR on Sunday and can be backed at 2/9 to emerge victorious.
PSG to bid for Di Maria
Radio Monte Carlo is reporting that Paris Saint-Germain are readying summer bid for Manchester United midfielder Angel Di Maria.
The Saints coach Laurent Blanc has made the Argentine his number one target and in turn instructed the club officials to try and lure him to Parc des Princes.
With Ezequiel Lavezzi and Edinson Cavani set to leave, PSG will have money to launch an assault on Di Maria.
The Argentine has largely struggled to prove his worth in English Premier League since joining from Real Madrid in the summer and he is heavily linked with a summer exit.
Di Maria has grown increasingly frustrated by the lack of first team opportunities as he has been playing second fiddle to Ashley Young of late.
The 27-year-old managed 3 goals and 10 assists in 26 Premier League outings, but has been largely disappointing over the last few months.
Benfica in talks for Jansen
Hamburg defender Marcell Jansen could be moving to Benfica in the summer, according to his official representative.
The former Germany international is set to end a seven-year spell with the Bundesliga side when his contract comes to an end in the summer.
Jansen has already decided to leave the Red Shorts and his agent has now revealed that talks with Portuguese giants Benfica are set to be resumed.
“We have agreed to speak again. This could certainly be an option for Marcell,” agent Gerd vom Bruch told Hamburger Morgenpost.
Marcell Jansen made a name for himself at Borussia M’gladbach, and he went on to join Hamburg in 2008 following a short spell with Bayern Munich.
The full-back has a total of 220 Bundesliga appearance to his name, while he earned 45 Germany caps, featuring at three major tournaments.
