Agent confirms Fiorentina move for Zanetti

Cristiano Zanetti’s agent has confirmed that the veteran midfielder has left Juventus and joined Fiorentina.

The 32-year-old will cost the Viola around €2million and the midfielder has signed a three-year contract with the club.

Carlo Pallavicino told Violanews: “Fiorentina have got him. The two clubs have an agreement, so does the player.

“I can say this is a good signing for the Tuscans, seeing as I am certain Cristiano is 100 per cent fit and can give a big hand to the Viola.”

Zanetti has been linked with a move away from Juventus all summer.
