The official representative of Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic has refused to rule out a move to Inter Milan for his client.
The Serbian full-back will be out of contract at the end of the season, and following some under-par performances this season, it is by no means certain that he will be offered a contract extension.
Italian giants Inter Milan appear to be closely monitoring the situation as they want to lure Ivanovic to Stadio Giuseppe Meazza, and the player’s agent admits his client’s future is still in doubt.
“Its quite possible that he will renew his contract with Chelsea. The rumors about Inter? In football anything it is possible,” agent Zoran Krneta was quoted as saying in the Daily Mirror.
Branislav Ivanovic has been one of Chelsea’s most consistent performers in recent years, making 223 Premier League appearances for the Blues and scoring 19 goals in total.
However, his form dropped significantly at the start of the new campaign and many pundits believe that the Serbia captain should lose his place in the starting line-up at Stamford Bridge.
