Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich have not been in contact with Wolfsburg hotshot Kevin de Bruyne, according to the midfielder’s official representative.
The former Chelsea footballer has been attracting a lot of attention with his performances for the Wolves and it was reported that he was on the radar of the Bavarians.
However, the player’s agent not only denied any contact with Bayern, but made it clear his client is not interested in leaving Volkswagen Arena at the moment.
“There is absolutely no contact with Bayern,” agent Patrick de Koster explained to Kicker magazine.
“We are not talking to other clubs. The situation at Wolfsburg is perfect for Kevin.”
Wolfsburg took quite a gamble by splashing out more than €20 million on the player who struggled to make an impact at Chelsea, but the 23-year-old quickly proved his worth at Volkswagen Arena.
De Buryne has since managed 9 goals and 20 assists in 43 Bundesliga outings, becoming one of league’s top footballers.
He has helped the Wolves climb to second in the league standings, with Wolfsburg now 8/11 to finish behind Bayern Munich.
