(GSM) – Sebastian Giovinco will leave Juventus in the summer after not being guaranteed first-team football, according to the player’s agent.

Regarded as one of hottest talents in the Italian game, the 23-year old has struggled to assert his place in the starting XI under numerous managers, and will now leave Turin in a bid to play more games after a meeting with new boss Luigi Del Neri.

“It is normal that the boy wants to play,” Andrea D’Amico told Sky Italia. ”His desire was to do it at Juventus, but if the plans of the coach don’t involve him, it is necessary that he leaves and plays elsewhere.

“He will choose the project that will give him greatest security. Within two or three days everything will be sorted out.”

The 23-year-old is reportedly being tracked by the likes of Arsenal, Bari and Parma with Bari coach Giampiero Ventura already openly expressing his interest in the player.

“Giovinco in Bari could be a revelation,” he told Tuttosport.

“I think his arrival in Bari would be more important for him than for us. I’d build a team around him and so he could express himself in the best way. He is very much suited to our game and he would have no problems integrating. We’ll see.”

Juventus is letting the future of Italian football slip through their fingers. They finished so poorly last season for a reason, terrible management. Del Neri should have started to build this team around Giovinco and Marchisio.

Juventus are pretty stupid not to have played him more. Once again Italian teams keep relying on old players. Only Inter has top class youngsters like Santon, Balotelli and Krhin. Milan and Juve have much less
