Agent hints Roma could hijack Inter’s move for Palacio

Roma could beat Inter to the signature of Genoa forward Rodrigo Palacio, the player’s agent has revealed.

The former Boca Juniors star was on the verge of completing a move to Inter, but his agent has now revealed that other clubs are interested in his signature.

“It’s true that Roma are keen on Palacio,” Aytekin Erayabakan told Radio Mana Mana.

“Both us and Genoa have been in contact with the Giallorossi. It’s clear that wearing their shirt would be a great achievement for anyone.

“They are a great club with great players, but I want to underline that Rodrigo is very happy at Genoa.

“You have to consider that my client is very attached to Genoa and if it was just up to him then he would stay.

“I think there is a 50 per cent chance that the boy could change clubs, also because there are other sides who have made offers to be evaluated too.”
