Agent: Inter stay for Sneijder

(GSM) – Wesley Sneijder is not seeking a move away from Internazionale this summer, according to the player’s agent.

The Dutch playmaker has become a transfer target for a number of clubs across Europe after a series of outstanding performances at the World Cup for the Netherlands.

Manchester United had been credited with an interest in the former Ajax ace, but Sneijder has always insisted he was happy with life at Inter.

Sneijder’s agent, Soren Lerby, has now confirmed the classy midfielder will not be leaving Giuseppe Meazza this summer.

“This is one of those years in which everything is beautiful and perfect. It’s difficult that Wesley will forget everything that has happened this year,” Lerby told Calcionews24.com.

“He has made history and everyone is happy for that. His future is with Inter, there are no doubts or problems about this.”
