Manchester City striker Edin Dzeko would consider any approach from Bayern Munich, his agent said.
A report on Sunday claimed that the 25-year-old faces an uphill battle as he tries to save his career at City, where Sergio Aguero and Mario Balotelli have emerged as Roberto Mancini’s first-choice strikers.
And with John Guidetti set to return from his loan spell at Feyenoord, the former Wolfsburg man is rumoured to be on his way from City.
“Bayern are always interesting for Edin,” agent Lars Mrosko told TZ.
“But I think there are only rumours for now.”
“There has always been interest from several clubs. I think that the clubs that had him on their list before are following his situation now.”
Before choosing to join City in January of 2011, Dzeko was closely linked with Juventus, as well as Bayern and AC Milan.
A recent report in the Wolfsburger Allgemeine Zeitung claimed that Bayern never fully lost interest in the striker.
“It’s all a question of money,” Mrosko said.
“I don’t know if Manchester City want to let him go. Bayern have money, of course, but the question is: how much do Manchester City want?”
However, the agent revealed that for now, his client is only considering his future with Mancini’s side.
“I think that Edin is in good hands in Manchester at the moment. He wants to play on a regular basis. I think that Edin is concerned only with Manchester.”
Dzeko’s contract with City expires in 2015.
