The agent of Inter midfielder McDonald Mariga has revealed that his client is interested in a return to Parma.
The Kenyan midfielder joined Inter from Parma in a €10 million deal two years ago, but failed to live up to the expectations at Giuseppe Meazza.
Mariga started just five Serie A games before he was farmed out on loan to Real Sociedad last summer.
Despite playing regularly for the La Liga side, the player is not entirely happy at Estadio Municipal de Anoeta and is pondering a return to Parma.
“Mariga has a strong desire to return to Parma, we will know something on Monday,” the player’s representative Federico Pastorello wrote on his Twitter account.
The 24-year-old could join Parma on loan until the end of the season, in which case Il Ducali would probably have the option of making the transfer permanent in the summer.
Mariga has amassed 14 La Liga appearances this season, 10 of which were starts, but he failed to register a single goal for los Txuri-urdin.
