Marko Marin’s agent has quashed speculation linking the Werder Bremen midfielder with Tottenham Hotspur.
The Germany international missed training on Tuesday morning, sparking rumours that he was in north London undergoing a medical with the Premier League outfit.
However, Marin’s representative, Fali Ramadani, moved swiftly to dismiss talk of a move to White Hart Lane.
“Marko is in Bremen and has completed training (on his own),” he told Kicker.
Marin has revealed that his sole focus at the moment is trying to prove his fitness ahead of this weekend’s clash with Bayer Leverkusen after being forced to sit out last Saturday’s trip to Kaiserslautern with a groin problem.
“Tomorrow (Wednesday) I’ll start running,” Marin said. “I’ll see from day to day, but a return against Leverkusen is still not completely off the table.”
As well as the rumoured interest from Tottenham, Marin, who is out of contract in June 2013, has also been heavily linked with Inter.
