Neymar’s agent Wagner Ribeiro has revealed that interested clubs will have to pay £41 million if they want to sign the Brazil international.
Real Madrid and Chelsea are thought to be leading the race for the 19-year-old forward and his agent admits that the Blues have already had one bid rejected last summer.
“Last year Santos received an offer of £32m from Chelsea and it was rejected. Now he would not leave for less than £41m,” Ribeiro told The Sun.
“Neymar is like Messi. Soon he will be the best in the world because he is a player unlike any other. He is just 19 but all the big clubs are following him.”
Chelsea are reportedly closing in on Anderlecht striker Romelu Lukaku, meaning they are likely to drop their interest in Neymar.
However, Real Madrid are thought to be pondering a big money move for the Brazilian after he revealed his interest in moving to Santiago Bernabeu.
