As claimed by AS, reports emerged in Spain that Manchester United’s Alexis Sanchez has been offered to Real Madrid by his agent.
The Spanish giants, who have just officially confirmed the appointment of Santiago Solari as their head coach on a permanent deal, have been struggling to compensate for the loss of Cristiano Ronaldo in terms of goals. In the absence of the Portuguese superstar, the likes of Gareth Bale and Karim Benzema haven’t been able to step up so far, which led to a series of poor results and the sacking of Julen Lopetegui.
Real have been linked with a move for Chelsea’s Eden Hazard lately, but now they apparently have an option of going for Sanchez instead. A report by The Times recently labeled the Chilean as ‘lonely, bored and ignored’ at Old Trafford, and it seems him being left out of the starting XI for the Manchester Derby defeat on Sunday was the final straw. He is determined to find a way out.
However, his huge wages are still there as an obstacle for anyone looking to make an approach for his services.
