(GSM) – Stuttgart midfielder Sami Khedira move to La Liga giants Real Madrid is edging closer, according to the player’s agent.
The Germany international, who starred for the national side in the absence of captain Michael Ballack at the 2010 World Cup, will have his current contract expire next summer.
Suttgart would have to make a choice of selling him or risk rather losing him for nothing.
And Khedira’s agent, Jorg Neubauer, feels that the Bundesliga side must reach an agreement with Madrid regarding a transfer move.
“Everything is fine for us with Real Madrid so far,” Neubauer told Bild. “If they reach agreement with Stuttgart, the transfer will take place.”
