Agent reveals Man Utd, Chelsea watching Van Wolfswinkel

The agent of Sporting Lisbon striker Ricky van Wolfswinkel has confirmed interest from Manchester United and Chelsea.

The 22-year-old only moved to Sporting in the summer, but he has already attracted interest from big European clubs.

After scoring seven goals in nine league games this season, the Dutchman is now being linked with Manchester United and Chelsea, among other clubs.

“I know they (Manchester United and Chelsea) are watching him but that is not unusual because they are watching all the best young players in Europe,” the player’s agent Louis Laros told the International Business Times.

“I have not spoken to anyone about his future. At the moment any interest is only rumours and nothing more.”
