Agent reveals M’Vila worth €20 million; Miccoli drops retirement hint

Agent reveals M’Vila worth €20 million

The agent of Rennes midfielder Yann M’Vila has revealed that his client is worth €20 million.

The 21-year-old is already a first team regular for both club and country and is courted by a number of high-profile clubs.

Arsenal, Milan and Inter have already shown interest in his services, whereas Manchester United are also keen.

The French international is expected to leave the club at the end of the season, but his client reveals that the player is still undecided over his future.

“Regarding M’Vila, he is valued at €20 million,” representative Marc Formeaux told Spanish daily AS.

“In Italy they have linked him with Inter and AC Milan, but we will have to wait and see who can pay his price and then convince him to join them.”

Miccoli drops retirement hint

Palermo forward Fabrizio Miccoli has revealed that he plans to end his playing career at Renzo Barbera.

The 32-year-old has made no secret of his love for his hometown club Lecce and it was believed that he would end his career with the Salentini.

However, speaking to Palermo’s official website, Miccoli has indicated that he could instead end his playing career at Renzo Barbera.

“Palermo is a second home for me, because of the relationship I have with the people. I was able to enter the history of this club and for me it is a fixed point. I hope to stay and again give my contribution.

“I believe that I will end my career here, then we’ll see. At least I hope to be a fixed point. I am fortunate to have people like Migliaccio and Balzaretti here.

“We are the old players who have the responsibility of raising the younger ones who come from far away. You have to help them acclimatise and make them express themselves well.

“We do a good job, continue on this road, but it’s not easy, it takes time, especially when we change so much.”

Palermo have had mixed success this season and they currently sit in 9th place in the Serie A standings, whereas Miccoli has scored 4 goals in 12 Serie A appearances.

Van Bommel not yet ready to return to Holland

AC Milan midfielder has moved to deny reports linking him with a January return to Holland.

The 34-year-old has six months left on his deal at San Siro, but he intends to see out his contract.

“I’ve never asked to be sold,” Van Bommel was quoted as saying in Tuttosport.

“When I left Holland in 2005 I promised that I would go back to end my career there.

“Nevertheless, that moment hasn’t arrived just yet. I have six months left on my Milan contract and then we’ll see what happens.”

The holding midfielder joined Milan last winter from Bayern Munich and has enjoyed a lot of success at San Siro since his arrival.

With the Rossoneri unlikely to offer him a contract extension, he is likely to leave the club at the end of the season.
