Agent reveals Real Madrid wonderkid interested in Benfica move

Benfica are readying bid for Real Madrid hotshot Jese Rodriguez, according to A Bola.

The 18-year-old forward is regarded as one of the hottest prospects in Spain and he was invited by Jose Mourinho last summer to join the senior side on pre-season tour.

The player, whose style of play and dribbling skills have earned him comparisons with Cristiano Ronaldo, is reportedly unhappy at Santiago Bernabeu and has been linked with a January exit.

According to A Bola, Benfica are hoping to take advantage of the situation and bring him to La Luz, with the player’s agent admitting that is a realistic possibility.

“Benfica is one of the biggest clubs in Europe and any player would like to play there,” Rodriguez’s agent Gines Carvajal told A Bola.
