The agent of Danish footballer Dennis Rommedahl has said that his client could be moving to Greek giants Panathinaikos this summer. Soren Lerby stated that his client was in talks with a number of clubs, and would take a decision on his future soon.
Rommedahl is currently contracted to Ajax Amsterdam, but is unhappy with the one year extension being offered to him by the Dutch club. The 31 year old is best known for his spell with Ajax’s domestic rivals PSV Eindhoven, whom he represented between 1997 and 2004.
Rommedahl was part of Denmark’s World Cup 2010 squad that failed to qualify for the knockout stages. He scored the winning goal in the Danes’ 2-1 win over Cameroon in the group stages.
