Agent says Brazilian striker Adriano ready for European return

(GSM) – Adriano’s agent has announced that the player is ready to return to European football.

The 28 year-old, world’s best in his position, is currently preparing for Brazilian club Flamengo’s Copa Libertadores campaign and selected for the national side at this summer’s World Cup, but is keen to move back to Europe, having starred for Inter Milan and Parma earlier in his career.

His agent, Gilmar Rinaldi said, “Adriano is ready to return to Europe, with a squad which is a bit Brazilian.”

“That could be Roma, Real Madrid, or Barcelona. Squads which work with Brazilians,” he added.

Agent said, “He is ready to return. I’ll go around and we will evaluate the situation.”

Adriano has enjoyed an excellent spell since joining Flamengo from Inter Milanlast year and several clubs are interested in the powerful forward, scoring 19 goals in 30 appearances. However, his agent said that he will consider his future after the World Cup.

Rinaldi said, “It’s difficult for anything to happen before because his contract is until the end of May.”

“He’ll play in the World Cup and then decide,” he added.

Adriano has scored 27 goals in 46 games for Brazil.
