The agent of Atalanta midfielder Ezequiel Matias Schelotto believes that his client is ready to join a big club.
The Argentine-born winger has had an impressive start to the season, and is currently being linked with clubs like Roma and Inter.
The player’s agent, however, says he is unaware of any contact from the aforementioned clubs.
“At the moment I’m not aware of any contact, but I wouldn’t know if the clubs have spoken to each other,” Gerry Piccolillo told TMW.
“Nevertheless, Matias just wants to do well in the Atalanta shirt at this present time. We’ll just have to wait and see what happens.”
The player has been even tipped to receive a full Italy call-up, and his agent believes that it is only a matter of time before he leaves Atalanta.
“I think he’s ready to join a big club. And there has been talk of Roma and other interested clubs too.
“However, I think that all of the voices are just newspaper talk – for now…”
