Welsh wizard Gareth Bale has continually been linked with a departure from Real Madrid pretty much as soon as he ended up joining the Spanish giants.
Former Tottenham star has indeed enjoyed some rather inconsistent spells in and out of Real Madrid squad – mostly due to injury to be fair – but is once again being touted as the summer departure for Los Blancos.
Spurs are reportedly keen to welcome Bale with open arms but his agent Jonathan Barnett insists his protegee is ‘very happy’ at Real Madrid.
Asked to further comment continual rumours linking Bale to a move away from Santiago Bernabeu, Barnett claims that the 28-year-old Cardiff-born forward would command the same transfer fee paid for Neymar – €222 million.
“Bale is worth at least as much as Neymar.”, Barnett was quoted by the Italian media outlet Tuttosport.
Gareth Bale is expected to be a part of Real Madrid’s Champions League squad that will be facing PSG this week.
