The agent of Sporting Lisbon striker Ricky van Wolfswinkel has moved to deny speculations linking his client with a January exit.
The Dutch striker only joined Sporting this summer, but his impressive showings at the start of the season saw the player attract interest from Manchester United and Liverpool, among others.
Despite all the transfer talk, the player’s representative, Louis Laros says Van Wolfswinkel is perfectly happy at Sporting.
“Ricky feels very good at Sporting, very happy,” Laros was quoted as saying in A Bola.
“He loves the club, the city, the training centre, the fans, and everything is perfect.”
Laros says he is not surprised to see his client scoring goals on regular basis.
“He has always scored goals wherever he played. But, the Sporting team is very good and so are his teammates, with Capel and other players, helping him score many goals.
”It’s an effort of the whole team, collective, not just Ricky.”
