Catalan daily newspaper El 9 Esportiu is reporting that Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero is interested in joining Barcelona.
The Argentine attacker has impressed since joining Manchester City from Atletico Madrid, but it is believed he is becoming unsettled in England.
Aguero is reportedly looking to return to Spanish La Liga, where both Real Madrid and Barcelona are interested in signing him.
However, El 9 Esportiu understands that the 25-year-old would prefer a switch to Camp Nou.
The same source has suggested that the player’s representatives have held several meetings with the Catalans as the two parties are looking to facilitate a move to Barcelona.
Manchester City’s €50 million valuation of the player could prove to be the problem though, while the Catalans would also have to find a way to meet the striker’s high wage demands.
Sergio Aguero currently tops the goalscoring charts in English Premier League, and he is 5/1 to stay there come end of the season.
