Aguero not set for Barcelona

According to a recent report from Mundo Deportivo, Sergio Aguero is not on the verge of signing for Barcelona despite reports suggesting otherwise.

Aguero, who has spent the better part of a decade with Manchester City, confirmed earlier this year that he would be leaving the club in favour of pastures new. He’s had an incredible run during his tenure at the Etihad but now is the time for him to explore some new horizons with most of us being left to guess where those new horizons are going to come from.

Barcelona has always seemed like a possibility and as we get closer and closer to the summer transfer window, it’s starting to look more viable than ever.

However, it seems as if there’s more work to be done than many had initially thought – but that doesn’t mean it still isn’t going to go down this year, perhaps even in the next couple of months.
