Only a year after his £17 million move to last season’s Premier League champions Leicester City, Ahmed Musa could be on his way back to Russia.
The 24-year-old striker has struggled to hold down a starting place with the Foxes first-team and is considering his options just twelve months after his big-money arrival from CSKA.
The Russian heavyweights appear to be keen on getting their former star back and Russian media outlet Sport Express is suggesting that a loan back to Moscow is a possibility for the Nigeria international.
Ahmed Musa has endured arguably the most difficult season in his career thus far with the Nigerian making just seven starts in the Premier League and managing only 4 goals in 31 appearances across all competitions for the Foxes.
Musa is aware he could be pushed further down the pecking order by any potential new signings and he is thought to be keen on a return to Russia where he made a big name for himself with 42 goals in 125 league appearances for the Army Men.
