Ajax are set to offer Ismail Aissati a three-year contract, according to reports in the Netherlands.
Aissati made 19 appearances for the Eredivisie champions last season, scoring two goals, after returning from a loan spell at Vitesse Arnhem.
The 23 year-old has made no secret of his desire to quit the Amsterdam Arena at the end of his contract, which runs out at the end of June, having already rejected a contract offer.
The report says Vitesse are willing to make a bid for the Morocco international, although Ajax have begun extension talks.
“That (contract) proposal is under consideration,” Aissati’s agent told Algemeen Dagblad.
Frank de Boer’s side finished the Eredivisie campaign in first place, qualifying for next season’s Champions League.
