Ajax welcome Olympique Lyonnais to the Amsterdam ArenA in the first leg of the Europa League semi-final this evening, and are favourites to come out on top given the contrasting form between the two sides. Ajax have been solid on home soil ahead of today’s European meeting while Lyon can’t buy a win in recent weeks.

Peter Bosz’s Ajax side have suffered consecutive defeats, but their form at the Amsterdam ArenA has been formidable. The Dutch Eredivisie giants have won their last 10 at home, losing just once in their own backyard in all competitions all season. Ajax have been inconsistent in the Europa League, but they have always delivered in front of their own fans which could be telling.

As for the visitors, Bruno Génésio’s Olympique Lyonnais side have suffered three defeats from their last five games in all competitions ahead of their trip to the Netherlands.
