Ajax eyeing Tom Ince

Sunday People is reporting that Ajax are planning an ambitious bid for Blackpool winger Tom Ince.

The Amsterdammers have already established initial contact, which is enough to suggest they aim to sign the youngster at the earliest opportunity.

And while a number of Premier League sides are keen on Ince, Ajax are hoping to wrap up the deal before other interested clubs have time to act.

With the midfielder’s contract due to expire at the end of the campaign, the Amsterdammers are hoping to agree a cut-price deal with the player’s current employers.

It remains to be seen whether the 21-year-old will be tempted by the move to the Netherlands, although the Dutch giants are hoping the prospect of Champions League football will help lure the player to Amsterdam ArenA.

Tom Ince has largely impressed ever since he left Liverpool to join Blackpool, scoring 31 goals in 97 Championship matches.
