Dutch heavyweights Ajax have reached an agreement with Fortuna Sittard over the transfer of defender Per Schuurs.
The talented teenager has put pen to paper on four-and-a-half years that will keep him in Amsterdam until 2020, Ajax have confirmed on their official website.
Schuurs signed for an undisclosed fee and will be immediately loaned back to his boyhood club until the end of the season before joining up with Ajax next summer.
Per Schuurs has been regarded as one of the hottest defensive prospects in the Netherlands and is expected to make a huge progress in the renowned Ajax football academy.
Fortuna Sittard defender has emerged as a first-team regular with the Eerste Divisie side, making the total of 14 starts this season.
He also added 3 goals in the second tier of football in the Netherlands.
