Eredivisie giants Ajax have informed interested sides of their asking price for centre-back Davinson Sanchez.
The 21-year-old defender enjoyed an excellent start to his career in Europe, seeing his stock rise a great deal in the process.
While also starting 12 Europa League fixtures, Sanchez impressed to score 6 goals in 32 Eredivisie outings, sparking interest from quite a few top clubs.
However, it seems that Ajax are determined to keep hold of their prized asset, as witnessed by their extremely high asking price.
“For less than €40m, he’s not going anywhere,” Ajax sporting director Marc Overmars told De Telegraaf.
He also went to suggest that in-demand players Kasper Dolberg and Amin Younes were not for sale.
It would appear as though Ajax officials recognise the potential of the current squad, and they are determined to keep all key men at Amsterdam ArenA for as long as possible.
