Ajax star welcomes Liverpool link
Ajax midfielder Christian Eriksen admits he is flattered by the reported interest from Liverpool.
The Danish midfielder is one of the most sought-after players in Europe at the moment, and he is tipped to leave Ajax for greener pastures in the near future.
Liverpool are reported to have also joined the race for the 20-year-old hotshot, and Eriksen confirms he would consider a move to Anfield.
“Liverpool? It is very nice that such a big club is interested in me”, Eriksen told Danish magazine Tipsbladet.
“It is special to me, but I am not thinking about a transfer at this time.”
Eriksen has less than two years left on his deal at Amsterdam ArenA, meaning there is every chance he will be sold next summer.
“My future? At the moment we don’t know. It all depends on what happens this season.”
Christian Eriksen has scored 15 goals in 83 Eredivisie appearances for Ajax since joining the club from Odense.
Arsenal target agrees CSKA Moscow move
Belgian newspaper La Derniere Heurre reports that CSKA Moscow have agreed to sign Anderlecht striker Matias Suarez.
The Russian Premier League side agreed to pay €12 million for the 24-year-old, who will join his new teammates in January, subject to passing a medical.
Suarez is currently undergoing rehabilitation of a knee injury in native Argentina and is likely to continue the process in his new club.
The Argentine striker was on the verge of joining CSKA Moscow in the summer, but the transfer eventually fell through.
The Russians, nonetheless, managed to secure the signing of one of the most talented forwards in world football, who was linked with clubs like Arsenal, Liverpool and Barcelona in the past.
The highly-rated striker has scored just 32 goals in 115 league games for Anderlecht since joining the Belgian giants from Belgrano in 2008.
Milan chase Santos hotshot
Serie A giants AC Milan are weighing up move for Santos midfielder Felipe Anderson, according to Sky Sport Italia.
The Rossoneri have been alerted of the player’s potential a while back and having watched him in action on several occasions, they appear ready to step up their interest.
Sky Sport Italia reveals that Milan are even ready to offer star forward Robinho in exchange for the highly rated midfielder.
Robinho has long ago expressed his desire to return to Santos and with Stephan El Shaarawy living up to his potential, the Rossoneri are prepared to let him leave.
Felipe Anderson is Brazil Under-20 international and is already considered an important member of the side at Estadio Urbano Caldeira.
The 19-year-old began his professional career at Santos in 2007, and has since made 70 league appearances for the club.
