Ajax want to sign Manchester United midfielder Donny van de Beek

Ajax are interested in signing Donny van de Beek from Manchester United in the summer transfer window, according to The Sun. The report in the British tabloid has claimed that the Dutch giants are considering a move for United midfielder Van de Beek.

Eredivisie club Ajax are considering a loan move for the Netherlands international midfielder. However, United manager Erik ten Hag would prefer to sell Van de Beek and use that money to reinvest in a move for Fiorentina and Morocco international midfielder Sofyan Amrabat.

Van de Beek has been on the books of United since 2020. The 26-year-old has failed to make a huge impact at the Red Devils and was out on loan at Everton in 2022. The Dutchman has made 41 appearances in the Premier League so far in his career. Van de Beek has scored three goals and given one assist in those games.
