(GSM) – Al Ahly and TP Mazembe are close to the final of the CAF Champions League following home wins in the semi finals.
Egyptian giants Al Ahly hosted ES Tunis of Tunisia, and took a 2-0 lead with goals from Mohamed Fadl (38th) and Ahmed Fathi (68th).
Oussama Darragi pulled one back for Tunis in the 73rd minute, a goal that gives his team new hope for the return leg on October 17th.
In the other semi final, Congo DR’s TP Mazembe earned a 3-1 win over Kabylie of Algeria.
Alain Kaluyituka’s fifth-minute goal was canceled out by Nabil Yalaoui in the 68th, but late goals from Ngandu Kasongo and Kaluyituka, who netted his second, set the final score to 3-1.
