According to Fabrizio Romano, Al-Ittihad are in advanced negotiations with Paris Saint-Germain after expressing serious interest in the services of Danilo Pereira.
The 32-year-old defensive midfielder, who also plays occasionally as a centre-back, appears to have no place in the plans of PSG coach Luis Enrique after a summer of uncertainty. His contract at the club runs until the end of the season, but the Ligue 1 champions are believed to be keen to get him off their pay roll as soon as possible.

Meanwhile, the Saudi club have also submitted an offer for Arsenal forward Leandro Trossard, believed to be in the region of €35 million.
Unlike Danilo, Trossard has an important role in Mikel Arteta’s team. Even though his place in the starting XI isn’t guaranteed, with the likes of Gabriel Martinelli, Martin Odegaard and Bukayo Saka for competition for the three spots behind the striker. It doesn’t seem very likely that Arsenal accept the initial offer, but Al-Ittihad won’t give up easily.
