According to a recent report from Bild, David Alaba could leave Bayern Munich for free during next year’s summer transfer window.

The belief is that contract negotiations between the two parties have hit a wall with very little progress being made, increasing the likelihood of Alaba leaving the German giants in less than twelve months’ time.

The elephant in the room for Bayern resides on Merseyside with Liverpool being interested in trying to sign him. At the age of just 28 it’s clear to see he still has a whole lot left in the tank but for whatever reason, Bayern aren’t willing to push the boat out in the name of keeping him on the books.

The Reds, on the other hand, will be well aware of the fact that alongside themselves, Bayern Munich is known for being one of the best clubs in Europe – with their Champions League win earlier this year serving as undeniable proof of that.
