Alaves welcome Eibar to the Mendizorroza in the Spanish La Liga this evening, in a game that could be tough to call given the two sides’ inconsistency in recent weeks. The duo have racked up a lot of draws of late too, and tonight’s meeting could end up a stalemate as a result.

Mauricio Pellegrino’s Alaves side are currently 11th in the Spanish La Liga with 44 points from 33 games this season, coming off the back of one win and one draw from the previous two. The hosts have been indifferent at the Mendizorroza, winning only five of 16 games, drawing seven, and may struggle to break down Eibar tonight.

As for the visitors, Eibar find themselves eighth in the division with 50 points, having won three of their last five games, but losing consecutive outings ahead of this evening’s clash. The away side have won two of their last three on the road, but have drawn two of their previous five away outings which could prove to be an omen.
