Albert Sambi Lokonga to leave Arsenal for Sevilla

Arsenal midfielder Albert Sambi Lokonga is on the verge of a move to Sevilla, according to talkSPORT. The report has claimed that La Liga club Sevilla have agreed a loan deal with Premier League outfit Arsenal over a loan deal for Lokonga.

TalkSPORT has noted that Sevilla will hold an option to make the loan deal for Lokonga permanent for £10 million. If the Spanish club activate the purchase option, then Arsenal will keep a 25% sell-on clause for any future move Lokonga makes.

Fiorentina are also keen on Lokonga, but 24-year-old Belgian midfielder prefers a move to Sevilla. The former Anderlecht star is now going to undergo a medical with Sevilla and then join the Spanish club. Lokonga has made 51 appearances in the Premier League so far in his career, scoring one goal and providing three assists in those games.
