Spanish daily newspaper El Mundo Deportivo is reporting that Italian striker Alberto Gilardino has so far rejected three offers this summer.
The 35-year-old has been a free agent since leaving Pescara in June and he is still searching for a new club.
And it is not as if he didn’t receive any offers this summer, with Lugano, Spezia and Metz submitting official proposals.
Nevertheless, Gilardino rejected all of those as he is still hoping to receive an offer from a Serie A club.
Alberto Gilardino remains one of Italy’s highest ever goalscorers, having bagged 188 in 514 Serie A appearances, while netting 19 times in 57 Italy caps.
