Alcacer set for Villarreal switch

According to a recent report from Sky Italy, Borussia Dortmund star Paco Alcacer has arrived in Spain in order to complete his move to La Liga side Villarreal. The deal is believed to be worth around €23 million as speculation over Alcacer’s future seems to be coming to an end. 

He had previously been linked with a few top Premier League clubs and other sides around Europe, but now, the Spaniards are on the verge of getting this deal done. 

This could also serve as a huge step forward in deciding the future of Emre Can, with this move being set to free up the necessary transfer funds that will give Dortmund the chance to bring Can over from Juventus. 

Juve have a few injury concerns at this moment in time, but they’re still willing to agree to a sale if the price is right – and now, it appears as if it could be.
