Brazilian Alcides will spend the next season at Ukrainian side Dnjepr Dnjepropetrovsk. This was announced by PSV Eindhoven on Thursday.
The 23 year old defender, born near Sao Paulo, represented PSV on loan from Premiership side Chelsea and formed part of the team that would win two Dutch championships.
Alcides came to Europe from Vitoria in 2003, to join German club Schalke 04. After a short stint back in his home country at Santos, the Brazilian earned a contract with Chelsea, which meant a move to London in 2004.
In the last two years however, Chelsea loaned out their player to first Benfica, then PSV Eindhoven.
