Italian newspaper Tuttosport understands that Juventus are stepping up their efforts to sign Manchester City defender Aleksandar Kolarov.
The Bianconeri were in the market for a new central defender, but after their own centre-back Leonardo Bonucci was acquitted of match-fixing charges, the Old Lady have turned their attention to finding a left-sided defender.
The Italian giants have been in talks with Udinese over the transfer of full-back Pablo Armero, but the negotiations seem to be on the verge of collapsing.
It is for that reason that the Bianconeri have reignited their interest in Manchester City defender Aleksandar Kolarov.
The Serbian full-back is unhappy with his status at Etihad Stadium and he is no longer prepared to play second fiddle to Gael Clichy.
Having largely impressed while playing for Lazio, Kolarov is still held in high regard by top Italian clubs and a return to Serie A now seems to be on the cards.
