Alena: Barca door open for Neymar

“He is one of the best players in the world, this club would always have their doors open to that type of player. Of course we would want him to return to the club, he would improve our team, our results and the players”.

Those are the words of Barcelona midfielder Carles Alena, who claims that the Spanish champions are open to the idea of Neymar returning to the Nou Camp – whether it be in January or at some point in the future.

It’s no secret that Neymar’s future is up in the air, just a year after leaving Barca in a blockbuster move that saw him join Paris Saint-Germain. The Brazilian forward is a controversial figure at the best of times and you just know that he’s going to keep people guessing, but if Alena is to be believed, it seems as if there are no hard feelings from Barca regarding the manner in which he left the club.
