Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport has learned that Torino star Alessio Cerci is almost certain to quit Granata this summer.
The Italy international is on the radar of almost all top Serie A sides following an impressive season at Stadio Olimpico, but his current employers will not be selling on the cheap.
Torino chiefs will not stand in the player’s way as he has expressed a desire to leave for greener pastures, but they are still holding out for €20 million.
Cerci’s former club Roma appear to be leading the chase at the moment, even though their €12 million proposal was swiftly rejected.
The Giallorossi could lower the asking price by including Alessandro Florenzi in the deal, but boss Rudi Garcia has no plans to let the talented forward leave.
AC Milan and Inter Milan have also tested Torino’s resolve, with the Nerazzurri reportedly prepared to offer €15 million for the player who managed 13 goals and 10 assists in 37 league outings last season.
