A few days ago, Liverpool left their old training grounds at Melwood after 70 years and moved to the new facilities at their Academy in Kirkby, named the AXA Training Centre.
The move was reportedly an idea of manager Jurgen Klopp, with the aim of getting the first team and the youth players to train closer to each other and meet every day, and it cost the owners FSG about £50 million to get it done.
Here’s midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, currently recovering from a long-term injury, giving a guided tour of the facilities.
