Borussia Dortmund are known for doing great business in the transfer market, signing players on the cheap and then selling them onto bigger and financially more powerful clubs. They have been doing that for years and even the latest signature of Erling Braut Haaland is a perfect example of doing such business. But now it looks like they finally made a mistake.
Last summer they decided to let Alexander Isak leave the club and move on to Real Socieadad. They had sold him for a nice transfer fee to the La Liga side and after his impressive performances this season, a lot of clubs are lurking, being interested in the Sweden international. The striker has scored seven goals in La Liga, but Dortmund are in a good position compared to other clubs.
His release fee is 70 million euros and any club for that money could get him, but Dortmund could resign Isak as there is a buyback clause in his current contract. That clause is set at 30 million euros, meaning that by the time 2021 is here, they could get their former player back for that price.
