Alexandre Lacazette set for summer exit

French media outlet L’Equipe claims that Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette will be leaving Parc OL at the end of the current campaign.

Les Gones have somehow managed to keep hold of their star player in spite of the heavy interest from abroad, with Arsenal, Paris Saint-Germain, West Ham and Atletico Madrid all making their moves in the summer transfer window.

Even though Lacazette has a contract until June 2019 with Lyon, the club officials offered him a new deal with a major pay rise, but it looks as though the 25-year-old is not interested in renewing.

Namely, the striker and his representatives have come to a conclusion that a summer exit would be the best solution and everything suggests the France international will finally realise a big club move at the end of the season.

Alexandre Lacazette has been in stunning form this season, bagging 9 goals in 7 league appearances.
