London Evening Standard has suggested that former AC Milan striker Alexandre Pato could be moving to English Premier League.
The highly rated footballer will soon end his loan spell with Sao Paulo, but it is highly unlikely that he will be staying with Corinthians.
Namely, the Brazilian club admitted they were unable to afford the forward’s hefty wage and they have invited interested sides to submit their proposals.
According to London Evening Standard, Arsenal, Liverpool and Tottenham have all been offered the chance to sign Pato in the winter, with the player eager to return to Europe after a spell in native Brazil.
The 26-year-old did well to kick-start his career following an injury-plagued stint with AC Milan, netting 27 times in 75 appearances for Sao Paulo.
That did not prove enough for Brazil coach Carlos Dunga to consider calling him to the national team, with Pato having last represented the Selecao back in October 2013.
