Lionel Messi scored a spectacular free-kick past Alisson Becker in the first leg of this year’s Champions League semifinal between Barcelona and Liverpool, before his Barcelona were stunned at knocked out by Alisson’s Liverpool in the return leg.
Alisson came out on top in another semifinal, in the Copa America as his Brazil charged past Messi’s Argentina to reach the final. Having won the Golden Glove in the Premier League, the Liverpool shot-stopper has already added another one for the season with five clean sheets from five games in the tournament, with the final still to come.
And this time, Alisson showed that he has mastered that free-kick of Messi’s completely.
