Roma’s Alisson Becker says he wants his future sorted before the World Cup in Russia begins, or it will have to wait until the tournament is over. The Brazil goalkeeper said he is currently focused on his national team and that he has left everything concerning a possible move in the hands of his agent.
Alisson has mostly been linked with Liverpool, although there have been reports of Real Madrid being interested too. Liverpool striker Roberto Firmino revealed that he has had words with his compatriot about a possible transfer to Anfield, where Alisson played twice in the last two months. The 25-year-old shot-stopper is considered to be perfectly suited to what Liverpool manager Jürgen Klopp expects from his goalkeeper, given his team plays with a high defensive line.
However, Roma are very likely to demand a huge fee should the Reds interest become more pronounced, given that the amount received from Liverpool for Mohamed Salah is now considered an incredible bargain for the Merseyside club.
