(GSM) – Cagliari boss Massimiliano Allegri has reiterated his commitment to Sardinian club by insisting that he will respect his contract in the wake of rumors linking him to a number of top Serie A clubs.
The 42-year-old is under contract with the Rossoblu until June 2011 but is a reported target of both Juventus and Milan.
“I repeat that my future is at Cagliari,” he said.
“The rest are rumours.”
Allegri was named Coach of the Year by his peers after leading Cagliari to a respectable ninth-placed finish last season.
The islanders sit eighth in Serie A in the current campaign, four points behind the final European qualifying berth.
