According to a recent report from The Guardian, Massimiliano Allegri is interested in getting back into the management game – with Manchester United. The former Juventus boss is said to be learning English ahead of a potential new challenge at Old Trafford, with the belief being that he is invested in the idea of trying out something new.
Allegri hasn’t been in work since leaving Juventus at the end of last season, with the general consensus being that he was waiting for the right opportunity. Of course, when it comes to Manchester United, Allegri’s interest depends entirely on what happens with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
The Norwegian boss has had an uneven start to the season, but it certainly seems as if the club are interested in letting him ride it out in order to see whether or not he’s able to turn it around.
Either way, a big few months lie ahead.
